Mission and Purpose

The mission of Omni Center is to “END POVERTY” by empowering individuals, families, and communities throughout St. Louis City and St. Louis County to overcome the conditions that contribute to poverty and create opportunities for present and future generations.

As a nonprofit organization, Omni Center is committed to serving underserved and vulnerable populations through programs, resources, education, community support, and the arts. Through Omni Center Eminent Arts, a Charitable Foundation for the Arts, the organization works to assist youth, young adults, women, minorities, and individuals facing hardship by creating opportunities to discover, develop, and flourish in the arts while bridging the gap between arts and education.

Omni Center believes that the arts can transform lives, build confidence, inspire education, and create pathways toward a brighter future. We strive to be a “brush” in the community, helping every individual recognize that, through the arts and access to opportunity, life can gain color, depth, authenticity, and value.

Ultimately, Omni Center’s purpose is to help individuals and communities move beyond the barriers of poverty, strengthen families, inspire future generations, and create lasting positive change through education, the arts, community empowerment, and opportunity.
